Ashley Moore

The first time I met a Sigma Chi was even before I joined the Greek System. Over the course of almost three years I have developed some of the closest, and most supportive friendships that I have ever had. The value of such strong relationships that I have been fortunate to have with these men are evident among the brothers within the chapter and create the unique quality that allowed me to make my first couple of years at the university unforgettable.

Sigma Chi not only has the involvement of every sorority on campus through their amazing social events and their much anticipated Derby Days philanthropy, but they also have the support and respect from all of the Greek women, the UBC campus, as well as the community. I personally can speak very highly of the men of Sigma Chi as they have demonstrated not only the definition of friendship, but they also have the qualities of leaders that truly define them within the Greek System.

To me, being a Sweetheart of Sigma Chi means that I have the wonderful opportunity to be a part of a brotherhood as strong as theirs. A brotherhood that I have been fortunate enough to share a part in and be able to fully support. I am so honored to have been given this opportunity and I am genuinely so excited for the upcoming year!

Favourite Sigma Chi event: Sweetheart Ball, Derby Days, and all the random times just hanging out at the house
Interests: I love surfing, and pretty much any summer sport, skiing, and roadtrips
Future Plans: To work in advertising and participate in a lot of charity work
