Sigma Chi Small Rooms 2011
This year's Small Rooms party was too nuts! With all the ingenious room ideas and large attendance, our annual party was once again a huge success. Thanks to all the brothers who helped out with organizing and maintaining the fun.

Sigma Chi Formal Rush
This year, Sigma Chi’s formal rush event was held at The Sage Bistro right on the UBC campus. We would like to thanks our recruitment chair, Brother Andrew Vuu, for his great success on planning the event and the rest of recruitment. A special thank you to all the alumni who came out and especially Jon Watson and Parham Peiroo for delivering great speeches during the Night. And of course, to our lovely sweetheart, Laura Jackowich, for addressing a beautiful speech to the future of the Delta Omicron chapter. The event was a great success and we look forward to the future of Sigma Chi.
Sigma Chi Derby Days 2011
Sigma Chi's annual signature philanthropy Derby Days, held at the beginning of the school, was a great success. Events like the car wash, pic-a-sig, penny wars, apprentice and our Endless Summer Bar Party were heavily attended and thoroughly enjoyed. We raised thousands of dollars for the Vancouver Children's Hospital while having a fantastic time doing so. This year the winners of Derby Days, and the recipient of Sigma Chi's annual Christmas Dinner, are the lovely ladies of Kappa Kappa Gamma! As winners of Derby Days, we donated a cheque of $910.00 to them! The brothers at Sigma Chi take philanthropy very seriously as we empathize with those who are less fortunate than we are and are willing to lens a helping hand.
Sigma Chi Rush Booth
On Thursday, September 8th, 2011, the brothers of Sigma Chi hosted a Mechanical Bull outside of the UBC Student Union Building. All proceeds were donated to the BC Children’s Hospital. It was a great time to hangout and enjoy the last few remaining days of the Summer.
Sigma Chi Glow Stick Party
As part of the Derby Days campaign, the Delta Omicron brothers of Sigma Chi raised over $1000 by selling glow sticks at their welcome back party on September 6th.
Sigma Chi Toga Party
As September approached, words of Sigma Chi’s annual Toga Party started to form. The event was too sick! Thanks to our social externals Randy Grewal and Roshak Momtahen for throwing a great party. We had hundreds of students come in and celebrate the new school year with us. It was a great success.
Sigma Chi Pig Roast
On August 27th, 2011, Sigma Chi held their third annual pig roast at the Delta Omicron Chapter. The pork was well prepared by our brotherhood chair, Drell Helina. This great event started off the new school year with great success. It is a growing tradition in the chapter and we can’t wait to host many more in the future.

Province Conference 2011
This year 23 proud Canadians attended Sigma Chi’s annual province at Willamette. Our group consisted of alumni, brothers, sweethearts and lovely sorority girls. We all had a fantastic time exploring Willamette’s campus as well as a very constructive day experiencing the conference itself. We took home two awards, Brother Mike Richmond won the Emerging Leader Award and our chapter won the Host Chapter Award for the second year in a row! The brothers of Delta Omicron wish to extend our thanks to Stephen Branch and the Delta Zeta Chapter (ΔΖ) as they did a fantastic job organizing the whole conference. We look forwards to seeing members of our province in the near future.
